Samrat Prithviraj Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar’s recently released film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is struggling to make a mark in the box office collection. The period drama is not able to pull the audience in the theatres. The film failed to impress the audience who went to the theatre. ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ was released on 3 June. On June 6, June 8, there was a sharp drop in the box office collection of the film. The film has so far earned only Rs 52 crore. There are also reports that film shows are being cut as most morning shows saw single digit occupancy.
Samrat Prithviraj directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi is getting mixed reactions from the critics. The film witnessed a slow opening on the first day and has since registered a further decline. On June 5, June 7, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ had earned a total of Rs 48.65 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Instagram, “‘Samrat Prithviraj’ continues to decline. Trend extremely weak, little hope of covering lost ground on weekdays or next weekend.”
The film has made a box office collection of 52 crores with 10.70 crores on Friday, 12.60 crores on Saturday, 16.10 crores on Sunday, Mon 5 crores, Mangal 4.25 crores, 3.35 crores on Wednesday.
Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is based on the life of the fearless king Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar played the role of great warrior, he fought courageously against Mohammad Ghori. Manushi Chillar plays the role of Sanyogita, the girlfriend and wife of King Prithviraj Chauhan. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood. ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ was released on 3 June in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
